Info: Accessing the application portal. We’ve upgraded security, so existing users must re-register. We’ve emailed a link, valid until 15 October. To re-register later, email contact@fasttrack.govt.nz for a new link.

From today, the Fast-track application portal delivers a better user experience for applicants and those assessing applications in the Fast-track process.

The application portal offers:

What changes will applicants see?

Applications underway but not yet submitted can be completed using the new process. Tabs are numbered with the same Section or Part numbers as the PDF application forms for easy cross-referencing, with additional tabs for location and documents and all checklists now found under a single tab.

Applications already submitted will not be impacted by the changes – they will appear in their original format.

What other changes have been made?

All documents attached to an application can be downloaded with a single click.

Administration users can file email attachments using a simple tick-box selection process.

We’ve streamlined the administration process for inviting users to the portal.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) has been introduced to enhance sign-in security. This means that all active portal users will be prompted to re-register and complete the MFA process before they can access the portal.

What user support is available?

Users can find updated application portal user guides and videos on the Fast-track website. This includes guides on how to re-register.
