Expert conferencing
On 23 February 2026 and 24 February 2026, the expert panel issued Minutes 18 and 19 directing expert conferencing to be held on stormwater and groundwater matters.
Expert conferencing was held online on 4 March 2026, with experts attending on behalf of the expert panel, the applicant, Matamata-Piako District Council and Waikato Regional Council.
The conferencing was facilitated by Steve Mutch from ChanceryGreen on behalf of the expert panel.
At the conclusion of conferencing, the experts signed a joint witness statement to record the outcome of their discussions.
