The project is to establish a master-planned residential development over 33. 7 hectares to deliver approximately 300 to 350 residential lots for future housing construction. The project includes supporting infrastructure (roading, three waters services, stormwater management) and riparian enhancement.

Project location

The project is located in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay Region, across:

  • 92, 108, 148 Middle Road and 139 Te Aute Road, with a combined area of approximately 30.6 hectares

  • 80 and 84 Middle Road,  comprising 3.1 hectares (“the McKenna Block”).

Project referral

The Minister for Infrastructure referred the project to the Fast-track on 20 June 2026. The application was lodged on 9 April 2026.
